The Golf Rehab Clinic offers the most comprehensive assessment of your golf related health, physical and swing capabilities. The clinic is based at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus where, the Exercise Physiology lab hosts an indoor golf simulator for golf swing and skills assessment, a fully equipped strength and conditioning area, as well as specialised health and physical assessment tools. The clinic also has strong links with local teaching PGA professionals, both North and South of the river for coaching.
The Golf Rehab Clinic is run by Dr Chris Joyce, who has previously run golf-specific Exercise Physiology services from other private practices since 2010. Chris has a PhD in golf biomechanics and has published over 10 peer-reviewed research papers on the topic. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University, and is the post-graduate course coordinator for the Graduate Diploma of Exercise Physiology.
Chris is an accredited Exercise Physiologist through Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), and has operated from multiple private practices since 2008, specifically in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Chris also is an approved education provider for the Australian PGA (APGA), and delivers annual workshops to the APGA trainees in the areas of golf-specific musculoskeletal screening and conditioning for performance enhancement and injury prevention.
